A site that is pages, text and images is cheap to keep online. One with a database, customer accounts, a store or a booking system behind it is not: there is more to monitor, more to back up, and more that has to be kept up to date.
Integrations are the usual reason the figure moves. Something like Supabase adds a service of its own that has to be watched and maintained alongside the site, and any other integration your project needs does the same.
