Benson Studio is one designer and developer, based in Prague and working with small businesses in London and anywhere else. No account managers, no subcontractors, no department that hands your project to someone else.

I started Benson Studio because too many good local businesses are let down by a website that looks cheap, or by not having one at all.
A good site should not be complicated. It should load quickly, say what the business does, and make it easy to get in touch. Most of the ones I am asked to replace fail at one of those three, usually because they were built to a template and nobody asked what the business actually needed.
Working with me means working with one person rather than an agency: straight answers, quick replies, and a site you are happy to send people to. I care about getting the details right, and it tends to show in the work.
I am based in Prague and take on projects anywhere. It is a city built on craftsmanship and character, and that shapes how I approach every project, wherever the client happens to be. Everything runs over video calls and email, so where you are makes no difference to how the project goes.
How I work
One person, start to finish
The person you brief is the person who draws it and the person who builds it. Nothing is translated through an account manager, and nothing gets lost between design and code.
Design signed off before the build
You see and approve the design before a line of it is built. Changing your mind at that stage costs a conversation. Changing it after launch costs money, so the order matters.
The price is the price
Published guide figures, a precise quote before work starts, and an agreed number of revision rounds written into it. No discovering the real cost halfway through.
You own it
Once the project is paid in full, the finished design is yours. Hosting keeps it maintained after that, and the site is never held hostage to one.
